What’d you think about the update to Cascades Trail (Purple)?
We have similar tastes in bikes. Epic and SJ cover most of the bases. Which do you ride more often? I like the riding position and wider versatility of the SJ more. My poor Epic has not been getting much seat time lately.
I think Jimmy @soundz used to ride a SJ too? But haven't seen his latest bike?We have similar tastes in bikes. Epic and SJ cover most of the bases. Which do you ride more often? I like the riding position and wider versatility of the SJ more. My poor Epic has not been getting much seat time lately.
Haha, I said that awhile ago too! I'm more comfortable 'riding' the Epic. The SJ is more purposeful for me (heavier trail riding, pushing limits etc). But I find locally that I can really throw the Epic Evo around more that I expect. It's extremely versatile out here.We have similar tastes in bikes. Epic and SJ cover most of the bases. I’ve actually been thinking of taking the wheels and tires from my epic and putting them on my SJ. I think I’d save about a pound of rotating weight that way and the ground controls will roll easier. The SJ comes with wheels and tires that are likely overkill for my weight and pace.Haha, I said that awhile ago too! I'm more comfortable 'riding' the Epic. The new yellow is a nice addition!
This picture reminds me of one of the trail sections at Neshaminy - the connector trail leading to the beginning of Surfer.
