What have you done to your car today?

New tires on order, General Gmax RS. There's not much choice in the size for this car.

Today I got all of the upholstery cleaned and rear seats reinstalled. I still need to clean a bunch of trim pieces before reinstalling. I figure a bucket of soapy water and a sponge will make quick work of it, hopefully I can manage it tomorrow afternoon in between other obligations.

Not too many pics on the day, it was not an easy job. No after pic of the carpet (the last 2 are before), but it looks better despite not getting every stain out. The seats cleaned up much easier, however it was a bitch getting the soap out of the seat fabric. The "Mr Rug" extra tor probably didn't help that, though it did pull plenty of dirt.

I run the Gmax on two cars. Good price though one set is considerably louder than the other. But the are a good bang for the buck 'perfomance' tires and doesn't wear terribly

I need some quick-n-dirty advice on a relatively inexpensive plan to wash and protect our wrapped vehicle. It is essentially a white vehicle with black roof, add the PPF sandglow yellow wrap and blackout hood.

It’s garaged, but sees a lot of exposure to the elements. Any suggestions for initial wash, treatment, and maintenance? Is the Gyeon brand any good?

I was gonna go budget on the tires just to get it moving, but I found a general rebate that priced then within reach of the budget option. I decided that would be better, one less thing to fret about later.

New tires for the MINI.

Honestly, not really what I wanted, but what I want is not really offered anymore - a 200TW tire in 205/50-16 that isn't skewed heavily towards autocross/track use. I almost pulled the trigger on a set of Bridgestone RE-71RZ, but I just look at that tread pattern and can't see them performing adequately in the torrential downpours I'm often forced to drive in. So a 300TW tire with a bit better evac characteristics was the remaining choice. These should last a bit longer, although the Dunlop Star Specs I've had on the car since 2018 wore reasonably well.

They'll get installed on Monday when I drop the car off for annual (PA) inspection.

In the meantime, I'll have to haul the summer wheels up from the basement and swap out the winter wheels... with a bum knee...

Any Chevy dealer techs in here?
My wife's 2026 trail lazer had a electric malfunction. They did a wire repair and left the harness exposed. Was curious if that's normal. Should they have taped it back up. IMG_20260507_095118.jpg20260507_201658.jpg
Added open harness pic

Finally got the summer wheels on the MINI. My knee is extremely unhappy with me right now. I drop it off at the shop Sunday night to get inspection and new tires installed.

Heading to Carlisle next weekend for the Import show. May do an oil change before that but definitely a couple of other tasks installing parts recently purchased.
