It was cleared already. Actually someone just snapped it out of the wayI brought my silky yesterday and rode all of red, but didn't notice this? I'm also short as well, so probably completely missed it...🙄

Just got back from Chimney. Blue has a lot of standing water on the trails, with particularly Lower Blue, of course -- not recommended. I'm guessing that we'd be lucky for this to dry/firm up by tomorrow, although seeing the leaves on the trees now gives hope. Weds is probably a better target, which, as things would have it, has more rain in the forecast, I believe.
I know someone that ran Blue this morning and it's still a mess. With rain in the forecast I'd stay away from lower blue till Thursday/Friday.Just got back from Chimney. Lower blue and the s turns take the longest to dry anywhere in the park. I sometimes bypass the worse of it by taking it cw and descending back down via the connector right before the log over. That’ll avoid the worse problem spots.I know someone that ran Blue this morning and it's still a mess. With rain in the forecast I'd stay away from lower blue till Thursday/Friday.
Forecast changed. Now, it’s looking like it won’t rain until 7 or 8. 👍It was as Rob mentioned. .most of the wet spots are isolated to rocky section of trail. Lots of splatter on clothes bike and shoes.
We started 5:15.
Glad I got out tonight. Wednesday looks wet again.
Go get some!Forecast changed. Now, it’s looking like it won’t rain until 7 or 8. 👍

Haha, they really are well mannered and not little aholes. I said the same thing last night. At the Cromwell property, I saw three young, middle school aged looking boys on electric dirt bikes. They were the same ones, I think, that I’ve seen on other occasions. I spoke to one in the past and he was respectful and apologetic when I told him (nicely) that dirt bikes are not permitted in the park. And yet I still see them here. 😕
Definitely not what I saidHaha, they really are well mannered and not little aholes. I said the same thing last night.
I attribute it to clueless parents. I grew up with older brothers. If they had dirt bikes at that age I don’t know if they could resist shredding at a place like Cromwell either. I mean, would you guys have?We were all kids once.
Tell them trail work is at 9am on Mondays.I attribute it to clueless parents. I grew up with older brothers. If they had dirt bikes at that age I don’t know if they could resist shredding at a place like Cromwell either. I mean, would you guys have?
I was not defending, just expressing my thoughts on the matter. I did advise the boy I spoke to their bikes could tear up Cromwell.Tell them trail work is at 9am on Mondays.
Probably the same ones we ran into last week. I explained to them that they aren't allowed, and the smallest kid's answer was "it's ok, I'm not from around here." Had to hold back the laughter, gonna try that (in a joking way, not seriously) next time I talk to a cop (hopefully I don't need any such conversations but life happens).Haha, they really are well mannered and not little aholes. I said the same thing last night.
it rained last night...Anyone there yesterday or today yet? I’m guessing it’s still a mess from Wednesday night’s showers.
