Mianus River Park in Stamford/Greenwich

Heading to Stamford for business this week. Going to bring the bike. In checking the trail map and comparing to the park’s website, it says the trails on the Greenwich side are off limits to bikes 🤷‍♂️. Anyone have any experience with this? I see @zmartene @Juggernaut have been there?

The Greenwich side does say no bikes on the trail map…. But… I didn’t see anything overly obvious by way of signage while out on the trail. I was operating under the “Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission” doctrine 😇. Trails were fun enough if you’re already in the area but I wouldn’t drive all the way there just for this park.

I know a guy that used to live up that way. He rode there all the time. He said go ride it. He'll be there later today

Thx all. I ended up having an evening appointment in Stamford so not going to ride today. But expect to be back again from time to time so will take advantage when i can. My only other question is whether parking at the greenwhich side and riding from there will earn me some hairy eyeballs from the local hikers. Or am i better off parking on the Stamford side albeit a smaller lot snd thus parking could be a challenge
