Our NICA team rode this morning. White/red/ballfield loop/yellow.

Admittedly, I was against us riding CR as I expected it to be awful everywhere this time of year.

Shockingly, it was about 96.3% awesome (yes I'm that highly scientific cough cough) and 3.7% beyond dreadful, avoid.

That 3.7% was the odd 10-20 foot long, 6 inch deep mud pit.

LOTS of folks out riding today. NIce running into you @qclabrat

I have all the non sarcastic confidence in the world the NICA team will show up like they did for @christryon at 6 mile a few times when he posted up with several weeks notice.

I have less confidence in us showing up if we only get 3-4 days notice like the last CR TM I recall occurring.

Since the April dates have already been posted, I guess y’all have plenty of time to plan. Sarcastically or not.

Conditions pretty a-ok today. I did almost all of red, most of white, black behind the ballfields and orange.

There was this hanger over the skinny on white. Looks like it could come down anytime. Say a Hail Mary or two before you cross.

And of course there were some patches of water and mud in all the usual spots. I slow pedaled and didn’t get too much on me. Most of the rest, as noted above, was pretty decent.

Yes, that is plenty of time to plan, thanks for looking out! Unfortunately that’s also a NICA race weekend in South Jersey.

We are going to remove that old TTF this year.
It is much worse than it looks - and it looks bad!

The wood should be hauled out - doesn't need to happen all at once.
Maybe we can do the flatten tree trunk for a replacement.
There are a few candidates up there.
