Is that a telephone pole?I didn't touch that one. A different log we sawed by hand.

That is what it looked like to me. I did not understand what it was doing in the middle of the woods nor could I find the base that it broke off from. In any case, it’s hanging over the trail. Is that a telephone pole?

Thank you!!! Was there again yesterday and it was phenomenal.Trails riding quite nice.

There’s also a decent sized one on Bear Country (I think), 12” I’d guess.
Uh oh, I should have noticed that. I did wear gloves and it’s been 4 hours since and no itching yet so I might be ok.That looks like pi vine on that tree(hard to be certain from pictures) Hope you scrubbed up appropriately after working.

When I “unknowingly” encounter PI I don’t see or feel anything for several days… Then, my skin “blooms”. 🫣Uh oh, I should have noticed that. I did wear gloves and it’s been 4 hours since and no itching yet so I might be ok.
Based on the pics, those vines are Bittersweet. This is an invasive plant whose vines twists around a tree. Poison Ivy vines grow straight up with hairlike roots that anchor the vine to the tree.Uh oh, I should have noticed that. Other than the trails that were closed to Mountain biking. No, everything is open. Trails should be in great shape today. Are there any closed section on the trail that I should avoid?
Thank you. I have only riding it once when @Patrick was kind enough to take us around so no idea about what’s open or closed.Other than the trails that were closed to Mountain biking. No, everything is open. Trails should be in great shape today.
You're good, I was the one who failed to finish. I'm deadly allergic to PI and I checked before attempting. Great work!Uh oh, I should have noticed that. I did wear gloves and it’s been 4 hours since and no itching yet so I might be ok.
