that's great. I know there are a few of us that have been working out there since the snow melted. The place definitely needed it, especially where there are holly trees. They just did a small controlled burn on the fire museum field. Probably see other burns throughout the park today..

Thanks to everyone who worked to clear trails! We did a bit when we got out but there was a bunch that needed power tools, and thankfully someone else did it. Rode today and everything was clear with the exception of one downed tree on the "fire path". Roughly in the location of the blue dot:

It's coming down the hill and partly hidden around a corner so it was a surprise, and it's elevated off the trail surface so not rideable by most folks. Didn't even try to move it, guessing it'll need power tools.

A week ago I found a sizeable branch sticking just out into the trail - hit my shoulder and it didn't move so that hurt. Saw it today and realized it wasn't attached to anything so I pulled it out and tossed it farther into the woods.

My wife found another similar one that was _just_ sticking into the trail, caught her bar and took her down. That one wasn't attached either so I pulled that out and again tossed it farther off the trail.

Beyond that, nothing but debris that we found on our ride that covered most of the central and eastern Brisbane trails as well as the "Picchu" loop to the west.
