Let's hear some opinions about the current gravel bikes

I'm an unapologetic Specialized fanboi, but that Orbea Terra is reeeaaallllly nice.

Can confirm, love mine!

Im the odd man out in the fact that I ride suspension and a lefty at that on my gravel bike. I love the ride and I miss it whenever I ride other stuff.

The bikes on my radar are these:

Lefty Club! I have a Cannondale Slate with a Lefty Oliver, currently set up as a mullet gravel bike, 50t oval up front and 10-42 cassette. I love that bike, and I'd ride it anywhere. I just wish it would take more than 42mm tires. Realistically, that's probably plenty but I just love the ride of the largest-possible-volume 650bs I can get my hands on

My riding buddy just picked up a used 2022 Cannondale scalpel full squish and he is going to build it up for gravel rides. He is going to mount up some drop bars and some brake hoods. The left hood is going to run the dropper and the wheels will get some 50mm tires. I am not interested in gravel bikes but it sounds pretty sweet.

So I finally pulled the trigger on an allied able. It only took a few weeks to get to me but then winter kept on doing it's thing. So I took my time getting it assembled and setup. Last Saturday I finally took it out of the house for a few hours. I never bothered to take pics of the bike during the ride, cause what good is a picture of a gravel bike on salt covered roads? It felt really good to be out on it though and I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with it in the coming months.
