I'm eyeing up a spot in Lewis Morris that I may have my kids test out. They can ski down and I can bring them up via truck if possible. Will report back if this happens.

Went to Blue this morning and to our surprise, the crowds weren't that bad, and I didn't witness any fistfights! Snow was incredibly good, and the little bit of fluff that fell overnight was hero snow. We were all over the mountain, and we had a blast. Out by 1 and had a great nap.

Blue at night was just like I remembered. Icy and filled with high school Jerry’s. I lasted about 2 hours and left for food and a good rest before Elk tomorrow. 👍🏻

I'm guessing you didn't get caught up in the avalanche activity. My buddy is a local and he said they have been having tons of slides since there was no previous snow to stick to before this latest storm.

Damnit. Just found another thread that is making me consider elk. I could do either Saturday morning. Elk is a bit pricier and more driving. Is it worth it? I’m seeing that the vibes are different and elk has more challenging terrain being the differences.

It was on the road from Okemo to Killington in a meadow next to the frozen river. Just before turning left to go up to the Killington base road.

Killington Monday and Tuesday at Okemo made for a few sore bodies but we had a blast. We skied our biggest weekend yet and are looking for more! I'm already starting to eye up the Ikon pass for next year. We have Blue season passes, but after this week I think the kids will be nudging to go...
