I have to say, I don't get the allure of riding virtual gravel at all, but to each their own.

Yep, same here. I'd rather pay the $20 a month to a US based cycling company.

Ok in that case yeah I get your question. Are you using Zwift or Rouvy?. I also do structured workouts in Erg mode, but honestly the main fun of Zwift is in the group rides, races, pacer bot rides etc... so while I might split my rides 50/50 between erg/sim. 90% of the fun that I have on Zwift...

Sounds like you are riding in erg mode, yes?. The whole point of Rouvy / Zwift etc.. in sim mode IS to shift and simulate riding outdoors (well at least for me).

    Navigating Chimney

I parked at the ball fields, rode a few different sections, and pretty much they were all bad. I dont know the park enough to know the names of the trails. I'm guessing it was freeze thaw, and also the bit of snow/rain that came late Friday night. I guess if you live close it would be worth...

So... It turned out to be an epic mud pit today... hopefully it will be in better shape tomorrow (Sunday), but keep that in mind if you have a long drive to get there.
