Tried my best to “hew” the top side. Better than nothing. And cut off the protrusion on the left. Still wish it was gone. Just shuts down any speed through that section to a halt.
I just stumbled on this thread and I'm intrigued! How is the trail building going? How many miles have been cut? Looks like many hours and quality top work. Great job y'all!!!
Raked out another mile or so of trail. From North gate going clock wise on singletrack to the big log over (pic3). It has been built up somewhat and is probably ok to keep but the other two should be tended to.
The first one is best reached by parking at the boat ramp parking area and hiking in to the trail past the red bricks on the trail going counterclockwise about a tenth of a mile or so.
