What have you done to your car today?

The reason we loaded it that way was because of clearance with the front lip. I was a little apprehensive because everything in the Uhaul literature said specifically not to do that, but the guy at the Uhaul place actually told me it would be OK. These cars are apparently close to 50/50...

What have you done to your car today?

Finally got around to doing what I bought this truck to do. Towed my new E36 M3 track toy up to Watkins Glen for a weekend of HPDE. @Carson I apologize in advance for both cars being dirty.

    Ringwood Rumble CANCELED!

I'm not much of a racer these days but I did a few H2H races back in 2004-2005 when I was learning to ride and they were really pretty fun.

    Car-spotting thread

That is exactly why my first car was a Firebird. Although mine was white and not nearly as cool as KITT. But still pretty cool.

    Wawayanda State Park Conditions

Ok I take that back. Drove up there yesterday to hike with my pup and there was a guy that somehow got a Tesla Model S up there.

    Hiking thread

Gore-tex Merrell hiking boots and a thick pair of socks works for me pretty much all winter long. In my experience what really gets you in the cold is if your feet get wet. So some kind of water-repellent shoe is key for winter, and if you're hiking through snow a pair of gaiters helps big time.

    Wawayanda State Park Conditions

For sure that road needs some work. I got up there OK in my 4Runner but you def need some kind of higher ground clearance vehicle.

    Wawayanda State Park Conditions

Saturday I hiked with my dog on Wall, Mojo Swamp, and back to Ferber Circle via Cherry Ridge Rd. Conditions were about as good as one can expect for it being this early in the year. Especially considering how much snow we got in February.
