    Jonathan woods

I ride there often as it's in my "backyard". I also use it as a cut through to Wildcat. It's small but fun when I don't have a lot of time. I like the trail network and agree that quads have really beat up some trails. My fear about trail maintenance is that the quads would destroy what was...

    Tourne County Park Conditions

Light blue and purple near the junction with red are very wet. The other trails were fine. The cool weather made it a good morning to be out.

    Tourne County Park Conditions

The Tourne is dry. We covered most of it and no mud. The good weather brought out a lot of people so the trails were crowded.

    Tourne County Park Conditions

Both sides are clear. Actually, the gravel side is as smooth as I've ever seen it.

    Tourne County Park Conditions

I rode the Tourne yesterday morning. Yesterday, all was dry and clear. The best part of the ride is that the Sled Hill is now clear. There had been several trees down on the trail from Sandy but all has been removed.

    Morristown to Denville via trails?

A long time ago, I was familiar with the area around Clyde Potts Res, but it's been many years (before the trails were formally there). Thanks for the heads up about the trails in that area. For what I would like to do, close is good enough. I like the idea of exploring new to me trails and...

    Morristown to Denville via trails?

Graveyardman67, I like your route! That looks like what I need. I have never made the connection from PP to Clyde Potts reservoir. I'll have to look at the current trails for PP. I haven't ventured west of Lewis Morris in a few years. And where you head into the woods along Franklin Ave...

    Paradox rising.

I know it's put together correctly, but when I look at the bike, I want to tell you "Hey, your fork is on backwards!" :D

    Morristown to Denville via trails?

The train tracks were suggested by ExtremeDave, but that seemed a little extreme for me. If there were a trail, tho.... I may have to explore that some more. When you look at the train tracks from route 80 in Denville, there appears to be many off road trails. I didn't think they went down...

    Morristown to Denville via trails?

Can it be done? I have the occasional need and I would like to be mostly on trail, if it's possible. I don't know of any trials that head between the two places but I was hoping there might be something that I have over looked. Specifically, I need to go from the Green in Morristown to...

That bike looks like it's ready to get dirty.

I can't wait to see this bike out on the trails.

For all the wiseacres busting my chops about selling the Yakuza:

Very pretty. I say we push it to the top of the tourne for some laps! Oh, and start researching unicycles. I think they would be fun.

    Half arsed Wildcat edit

Nice vid. Sooo happy it only was a crotch cam for the first 10 seconds. Perhaps we can ride next week?
