horses are challenged by bridges too, maybe we should build a land bridge or better yet run pipes and bury the streams. Riders who cant control their mount well enough to navigate in any area of xc type terrain should stay in the training ring.

smaller is better for rougher more technical ride larger is better at climbing and more stable, that is if you fall between the optimum fit for each size

its very difficult to do more than an overnight in the east unless you are doing more pavement than trail. Checkout the Eastcoast Greenway.
