Event notes specifically state no drop bars. I guess you could put flat bars and 2.2 tires on a gravel frame tho.... But in that case you're trying to hard for a weekday series farm race 😂

Mountain bikes are required, no drop bars. Min tire size 2.2. there might be a gravel race there in the fall if things go well with this series

I have a Rig too, but it has a tough gear and didn't want to kill my legs ahead of the race.... I also wanted to make sure my "good" bike is ready so I prioritized that over a lunch ride

Well, I tried! Happy I tried to get out for lunch because I ran into an issue swapping to SS and ended up fixing that during lunch instead. Hope you enjoyed the park!

I might be able to ride.... Air conditioning broke at work so I'll be working from home. Also need to swap my bike back to SS for this weekend anyways 🤔

JT gets his license in November..... He's trying to get a job and I can see him being interested in a little trailer for races 🧐

That other guy is my teammate, Jeff. I saw him walking his bike out of the creek as I came up to the bridge. Just as I was asking him if he was okay one of the roots exiting the bridge took my front tire out of under me and I hit the ground hard. We rode (suffered through) the next few laps...

Should be good to go. These new trails are built properly to shed water. A day or two after rain is typically perfect dirt, tacky with little dust. Check back in if we get a monsoon, but that's not currently in the forecast Do you have a route to follow? Will be way more fun with a guide
