    E-bikes are a thing

I’m just asking for a friend, but a 73yo friend is thinking about an e-bike for So. Jersey trails. (Mercer, Belleplain, Blackrun, Estelle Manor). I (he) has no idea where to start. He’s looking for a trail bike with short travel since at his age, soft trails are perfect for my ability. Trying to...

    Mercer County Park Conditions

I started my 10 y.o. Grandson riding there. I always park at the boathouse lot. If you check the Mercer County website, there’s a good map for the trails. It may indicate hiking but those are perfect for young riders. The trails begin on the left side of the volleyball area.

It's 2026 Is an Emtb in your near future?

With age, anyone who is addicted to riding will probably consider an e-bike. I hate to admit it but I’ve joked about it with my fellow 70+ friends and if it comes to not riding at 80, I may surrender.

    Belleplain SF Conditions

Thinking about heading there this week. How were the ticks and chiggers? I’ve avoided Belleplain till it gets cooler.

    Maurice River Bluffs Trail Conditions

Today, I rode Belleplain and it was fine. A few wet spots at the beginning of 1 but perfect otherwise. The leaves and pine needles made it extremely slow but it was fun.

What have you done to your bike today?

I’ll check the spokes but I don’t have another wheel, other bike is 27.5. Everyone has given me interesting ideas. I’ll check each and see what happens next. Thanks to everyone.

What have you done to your bike today?

It seems to click on the down stroke of the drive side pedal area and only while under pressure, never during light pedaling. Maybe it’s my knees?

What have you done to your bike today?

I need some advice. I’ve got a tick/click that I can’t clean up on an older bike (2013 Trek superfly 100 al elite). I’ve replaced the bottom bracket and the pivot bushing on the frame, lubed the seat post and installed a new seat and chain due to normal maintenance. But the click still remains...

    A little off topic

I had an incident riding Estell Manor Friday morning. While riding, a friend clipped a tree and went down. He a new inexperienced rider and a senior citizen. I hopped off my bike and went to check if he was alright. He was basically fine but while he was regrouping, another rider blew past us. I...

    Tuesday Beginners Group Rides

I’d like to join this beginner friendly ride but I’m booked this week but I have a few questions. I’m an antique (70+) and I’ve been riding forever or longer, how long do you generally ride? And a friend of the same vintage but relatively inexperienced would like to join. Will he survive...

    Advanced-Beginner Trails; Burlington area?

Camden County College is a great place for a beginner rider. There are a few climbs/downhills, twists and turns and enough trails to get lost. Young riders love that. You can easily ride there for a hour+ and not get bored, which is perfect for a young rider.

    Belleplain SF Conditions

Today was the first time I’ve ever made it through there without enjoying hitting a tree. I’ve always felt that the best part of that section was the challenge of fighting around the trees and laughing at my lack of skills. Now the fun is being taken away.

    Belleplain SF Conditions

Rode there today, perfect conditions, no mud or water. I don’t know GPX but Singletracks website has an accurate description and location. The trailhead is plainly marked just above the lake picnic area parking lot, on the left side of the road.
