A MILE of pavement? Why would they do that when they have endless possibilities at Waway? This addition is only for cat 1. The course should get harder, not easier to "balance out" the singletrack. This is going to be especially disapointing to the SSers.

I'm hearing some disturbing things about this whole "prologue" deal. Is it true that they have simply taken out a lap, and added miles of pavement and fireroad to create the Cat 1 distance?
