I wasn't thinking about it clearly. I was upset about the frame having the dent, but it makes sense that warranty doesn't cover this dent. My next question is how cautious do i need to be with this. The is no frame flex or crack in the frame. I am going to get it checked out at my LBS, but what...

It is actually a road frame. I don't see a crack anywhere, but am worried about the integrity of the frame. I am a heavy guy, and not want to have the frame crumble while i am out for a ride.

Does anyone have any experience with Trek lifetime warrantees? I noticed today that my 2006 1500 aluminum frame had a dent in it and would like to know if anyone has had experience with Trek getting a frame replaced under warrantee. Any advice would be great!
