    Trek Fuel EX 9 29er

I'm about 6 months into owning/riding a 9.8. The 9, treks top tier alloy model is a great bike. If you're thinking 2015 it's set up as a 1x11. The drcv rear shock is the real deal. Great on the stutters, opens up seamlessly on the bigger hits, set up properly, climbs very well. All in all, a...

dog encounter - Top of Skyline

Yeah.., I'm pretty sure the whole dogs on the trail thing is a bad idea. Much like horses, off bike, give 'em a wide berth, let the owner walk 'em past you on a short and tight leash.

    Thougts on Specialized Epic 29er

Do your self a favor, if riding chimney rock and perhaps some of the other chunkier places of northern NJ, NY, PA. Try a trek fuel. Plenty of demos between now and late fall. 120 travel, climbs great, descends well, really a well balanced bike. On a fuel now after two stumpys. They were great...

Lube (sorry to do this) Question??

Hey, thanks for your insight/experience. I do like the silent spinning the D/L provides but the heavy dirt and debris the product attracts is too much for my OCD to handle. Back to the R&R Gold!

Lube (sorry to do this) Question??

Running R&R gold on one bike, Dumonde Lite on the other. I've used R/R for a long time, always very satisfied w/results. Was told by LBS to give Dumonde a try. Was "instructed" on how to apply, followed said instruction to the letter. Product works well and will say, I think this is the...

    Fatboy.

Been riding the bike non stop since February delivery. Can't get enough. I feel the added weight/mass has made me a stronger rider/climber. Have been in H/Shorne a few times and the traction is unreal. Can't wait to try out 6mile.
