No Joke, that's what I've been doing for 8 years.

Furthest I go in VA is to the visitor's center where I pull over, stretch my legs, switch drivers...

I did get a lawyer. I'm in VA quite a bit so dipping out on a ticket isn't in the cards. I'll show up and take whatever they give me, nothing I can do about it now. Side note, it was totally worth it!!

Mine wasn't a crazy ticket, I just couldn't read their illegible carbon copy for the address to send the check. So I went with the Matty method.

I was driving like a total asshat through the south for two weeks. While driving back up north through VA driving sanely, cruising in traffic, going 70 in a 55, cop came out, weaved through the traffic, pulled me over and gave me a ticket.

Kinda the same. Was doing 80 in a 70, overtook a truck at 100 just as the limit dropped to 60 and BOOM. I have GoPro footage at 125 on the BRP so considering how F-ed I would be getting caught in a National Park screwing around, I feel I got off really well. And definitely deserved it. But again, worth it.

Back behind the seats were facing fold down bench seats. Not exactly sure how you seatbelts approve but I am old enough to remember them as an option 🙂
